'Hope' proposes to support this work, by facilitating intensified, united, focused prayer and a year of activities, communicating the Gospel through words and actions, creating a lasting legacy of both physical and spiritual change in the lives of communities.

Operation Christmas Child

Since 1990, Operation Christmas Child has brought the joy of Christmas to more than 23 million children. Last year Samaritan’s Purse in the UK sent out over 1 million gifts to children across Eastern and Central Europe . This annual project enables caring individuals, families, schools, churches, businesses, and other organisations to fill ordinary shoe boxes with small toys, school supplies, and other gifts for hurting children around the world.

Hildesheim Baptist Church Germany

This is the website of our twinned church in Hildesheim, Germany. We have been blessed by the hospitality offered by our twinned Church and in return have shared our homes with members of Hildesheim over a number of years. Sharing worship and fellowship, as well as sight seeing and shopping trips. We have made many friends and keep in touch during the year, and look forward to their visits!

A Street Pastor is a Church member with a concern for society - in particular young people who feel themselves to be excluded and marginalised - and who is willing to engage people where they are, in terms of their thinking (i.e. their perspective of life) and location (i.e. where they hang out - be it on the streets, in the pubs and clubs or at parties etc)
