Women's Groups

Baptist Women's Outreach

The Baptist Women's Outreach meet every Monday afternoon at 2:45pm and enjoy a traditional service, including hymns. It is suitable for ladies of the older age group. Guest speakers, covering a wide range of topics, are often invited to share with the group. They also enjoy a wonderful time of fellowship and arrange day trips and celebrate Christmas with a party every year! Ladies Evening Fellowship

The Ladies Evening Fellowship group meet on Alternate Thursday evenings at 7:30pm in the church hall. It is a meeting of ladies of all ages for fellowship and support for each other. There is a cost of £2.00 per year, plus a weekly contribution towards refreshments. Activities include speakers, craft evenings, meals and fellowship. Alpha

Alpha is a twelve week course for those who want to find out more about the Christian faith in an informal and relaxed enviroment. The evening begins with a meal, then a discussion where all questions can be asked and answered without fear of intimidation. House Groups

There are a number of House Groups meeting throughout the area, during the week, both daytime and evenings, usually in peoples homes for prayer, Bible study and fellowship. For more information on how to join a House Group please contact Church Office 01934 641574.

Worship Group

We have a wonderful Worship Team who assist in the time of worship, during the Sunday services. They meet one Thursday night a month and rehearse one hour before services.

Prayer Concerts

A time of creative prayer for the Church family, missions and wider issues of concern. Every third Sunday evening at 6.30pm.

Coffee Stop

Coffee Stop has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and is open to the whole community from 10:30am - 12:00 noon, every Tuesday. Please do feel free to come along and join us for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat! A wonderful way to meet friends and make new ones. Lunch Group

The Lunch Group meets on a Monday, once a month at 12:30pm, in the Church Hall. It is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a meal in a relaxed and friendly environment, meals cost £3.00 per person. Dates and Menus are advertised in the MBC News and transport can be provided if needed. To book a place please call the Church office 01934 641574.

Walking Group

The Walking group meets once a month on a Saturday afternoon. The walking group is an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and make friends at the same time! All walks are 5-7 miles at a pace set by the slowest walker. All ages are welcome. Transport to the starting point can be arranged. Details of upcoming walks can be found in the MBC News. Banner Making Group

The Banner Making Group meet to pray and make banners. They also share our skills and experience with other churches and groups. Everyone welcome, no sewing skills needed but own transport is helpful. They meet fortnightly Monday or Thursday, by arrangement, in Congresbury.
