Victor and Caroline

serving in Africa

Caroline is a trained nurse and was training as a nurse anaesthetist in Germany before starting mission work in 2004 on the Mercy Ships, involved in the discipleship training school.
 

Victor is a trained motor mechanic and a body shop estimator. He served with YWAM and then Mercy Ships. They met on the Mercy Ship in 2006 and married on 14 February 2009.

Caroline is very creative and likes making jewelry and cards. Victor is very practical and likes to lend a hand to any DIY jobs. As a couple they like the great outdoors - hiking and camping.

Judy Cook serving in Thailand

Judy is based in Chiang Mai in the north west of Thailand and works in several contexts with different marginalised groups of people. She has been involved in setting up and running Hope Home for children with severe disabilities, and has helped at Agape Home for children and parents living with Aids.  She also works with The Church of Christ in Thailand Aids Ministry (CAM).

 

Judy attends a Thai church and is encouraging the members to enjoy spending time with disabled children.

 

Peter and Louise Lynch

Peter and Louise Lynch have joined BMS World Mission to work with the Baptist church leaders in Bangladesh. Peter previously trained as a Pastor whilst Louise has experience as a social worker. They will use these skills within their role which will involve training, teaching, support and pastoral care, and keeping strong partnership links between the Baptist churches in Bangladesh, BMS and their other partners. Peter and Louise have always felt called to mission and are excited this is now becoming a reality. Louise and Peter are from Worle Baptist Church in Weston-Super-Mare and have two sons who are currently both studying at university.

 

Ben and Leonieke Salmons serving in Norway with YWAM

Ben moved to Norway in January 2016 to take a Discipleship Training school with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). After finishing the training he was invited to join as staff and is working as part of the Mission Europe group, which is looking at bringing hope back to Europe. He is also helping out with the Accounts and working in the community to help with local refugees.
